Blacktown City returned to their scintillating best by thrashing South Coast Wolves, scoring five times unanswered in what was a comprehensive victory.BCFC 01

Luke Clifford scored the first before Andrea Schroeder added the second. Wolves, who missed a few chances early on, were 2-0 own at the break. Blacktown went through the the gears in the second half, really extending themselves in adding three more goals.

They did need goalkeeper Luke Turnbull to make a save from the spot though, before Schroeder's second goal, followed by further strikes from Dillon Vorster and Harry Brown, put paid to Wolves chances.

Blacktown coach Mark Strachan was very pleased with how his side bounced back from defeat last weekend, whilst Richard Lloyd of South Coast said that his side was hampered by missing players, but was happy to acknowledge that Blacktown City were the better side on the day.
