Derby Day draws in the big names
BCFC's Lily Homes stadium was at its splendid on saturday and sunday, playing host to a wonderful weekend of football that saw the club take all points against local rivals Blacktown Spartans.

Our youth sides set the scene commencing with a tougt win for u13s 1-0, u14s followed with a solid 3-1, u15s were made to work hard for a 2-1, u16s cruised to a solid and well earnt 4-0, u18s were clinical with a 3-0 victory. A total of 13 goals in favour and only 1 against.
Our seniors had the work cutout but were not to be outdone by saturday's performance. U20s had to battle hard but despite a tense finish were worthy 3-2 winners. In the main act, 1st grade had to work extremely hard to for a 2-1 victory to make it 7/7. In all, a total of 18 goals in favour, 4 goals against. Among those enjoying the beautiful Sydney Sunday and the great football were two special visitors, ex BCFC Number 1 Matthy Ryan and Wanderers FC "Numero Uno" Tony Popovic.
Mathew Ryan returned to his old stomping ground, perhaps the last visit for sometome as he jets off to train with English giants Tottenham Hotspur in August. No doubt Matty's talent and passion for the game will see him go very far and all of BCFC and I'm sure the football community, wish him all the best in this great opportunity.
Tony Popovic in his quest to establish a strong link with the local football community, took the stands and was presented with a tough encounter with a number of stand out performances on the day. We take the opportunity to wish Tony and Western Sydney Wanderers the best of luck during this inaugural A-League season!
This was the week that was, now to get ready for Derby Weekend II - Marconi v BCFC
